ACCFutures delivers financing, collaborative Small to Medium Enterprises support, strategic community planning and economic development solutions to Akwesasne, Cornwall, and the United Counties of SD&G.

Director requirements:

  • You live and work in the region of Akwesasne, the City of Cornwall, or the United Counties of SD&G (South Glengarry, North Glengarry, South Stormont, North Stormont, South Dundas, or North Dundas).
  • You have the financial acumen to understand financial documents and make business recommendations.
  • You are engaged and can dedicate roughly 5 hours a month to attend Board meetings and other ad hoc meetings as required.

Managing Director Reports To Executive Director Posting Summary ACCFutures is looking to fill the position of Managing Director. The Managing Director must provide community leadership. This position will actively promote economic development to broaden and strengthen the commercial and employment base of the jurisdiction. This role will also oversee the development of programs for the region’s physical, economic, social, and cultural development. The Managing Director must possess the following: a clear and solid understanding of the issues faced by the organization and the region experience with budget preparation and management sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills French language considered an asset MANDATORY: Oral and written proficiency in English A valid Ontario Class G driver’s license or equivalent Salary: $76,000 – $90,000 plus benefits and pension Location: Cornwall, Ontario Position Status: Regular Full Time Applicant Submission Details To apply today, please email a copy of your resume and cover letter to stierney@mycommunityfutures.ca.
